MacVicar Hall


MacVicar Hall, which was named after the University's first president, the Reverend Dr. Malcolm MacVicar, is a women's residence hall. MacVicar Hall houses female students with preference to upperclassman women and is air-conditioned. It also has double occupancy rooms with an adjoining bathroom (suites) and exercise equipment in the basement.

Some suites in MacVicar are approximately 12x12 feet, others are 12x18 feet. Each room has

  • 2 twin size beds
  • 2 built-in desks, each with 3 side drawers and 1 middle drawer
  • 2 chairs
  • 2 closets that are side by side
  • 2 sets of wall shelving (1 long shelf, 3 short shelves)
  • 1 double towel rack
  • 1 sink
  • 1 mirrored medicine cabinet

The non-suite rooms in MacVicar are 12x11 feet; some are 12x15 feet. Each room has
 

  • 2 twin size beds
