UKROP'S VISITING PROFESSOR IN MARKETING

(For two semester appointment to the endowed chair in Marketing)

 

Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:  The recipient will teach three undergraduate courses, one of which is may be an introduction to retailing and the others to be determined based on the expertise of the recipient and needs of the department. Additionally, the recipient will present a minimum of four current topic workshops to faculty and student groups.

Minimum Qualifications: The recipient should possess demonstrated expertise in Marketing with an emphasis in Retailing.  The recipient may possess a terminal degree or have served in an executive level marketing capacity for a major retailer, and have a record of effective leadership in his or her field.  A master’s degree with higher education teaching experience required. Official copies of college transcripts from a regionally accredited institution must be on file by the appointment date for the successful candidate selected. Evidence of teaching, service, and a record of scholarly activity is desired.
